Scriptoeris is an online phenomenon, where young and motivated women who are always on the move can come together and feel empowered.
When I sat down to write this article – I didn’t look at four fashionable winter accessorires that everyone must have just because they are on the catwalk – I thought about four accessories that the smart and savvy Scriptoeris woman would wear. These accessories may seen basic and obvious – but a smart woman is always prepared right?
This article is for you. The smart, hardworking and confident lady that you are. So grab your best four winter accessories and go get them!
The first ultimate winter accessory is boots. I’m a big believer in the old saying ‘shoes make an outfit’ – and nothing screams winter to us like a good old black boot. I like to wear heels in the winter – heels in the summer = hell. If you’re into office chic, why not try these but if you’re also after some comfort but style, try these River Island Boots. Totally cute, but totally comfy.
The next accessory to wrap yourself up with is none other than a scarf. Scarfs are an unbelievable accessory to have as not only can you style it in many ways, but it actually keeps you warm. Zara is great for its scarfs, plus they are HUGE and make totally chic home accessories too.
Up next in the world of accessories is a hat. I know nobody likes hat hair – but they look fabulous and keep you warm. There is a number of hats to keep your cool – from fedoras to bobble hats. We’ve got it covered. This Whistles hat is a classic. It’s slightly smaller which is great because I find a lot of fedoras are too big and fly off in the wind. Not only is this a winter warmer, it’s also great to wear in the office as its smart and sophisticated. If you’re not into a structured look, this ASOS beanie is super cute with the faux-fur to add some glam to your mad morning dash to work. It comes in a few different colours and is cheap! Throw on with a red lipstick and voila!
Gloves are a necessity in the winter months despite being quite fumbly. Gone are the days of clumpy clammy hands and in are the days of chic yet warm hands. I have fallen in love with this ASOS pair. The red wine colour is wintery and the slight dip at the top of the glove adds an elegant touch to the hand. The best thing about these gloves is the touch screen ability in the fingertips – genius!
These are a few suggestions that are must haves this winter – but remember – it doesn’t matter what is ‘in’, it’s about what makes you feel like you. So wrap up warm and rise Scriptoeris ladies!
