Alright ladies.. listen up! Here at Scriptoeris, we have an exciting new series for you! First up is online shopping… and we can’t think of a better way than to share our top tips with you!
1) Golden rule number one – it seems obvious, do you NEED IT?
2) A follow up from number one… if in-fact you do need those new pair of heels with a to-die-for print, then wait a few days and if you’re still convinced you need them then go for it! Impulse shopping is a dangerous way to shop, especially as we can’t see our money!
3) During your few days of waiting, if you have enough will power.. Ask yourself – Do I have the cash in hand to buy this? Can you afford this without eating beans on toast for the next month? Online shopping can be great, but we are also dealing with invisible money here!
4) When you are buying things online, look around for discount codes. People usually post up online big-branded codes for the month, so why not make your life a little easier. If it’s also a well known product, have a shop around in different brands, you might find it cheaper elsewhere!
5) Maximise delivery times to make it cheaper! Most companies make you pay for delivery, however, if you buy an item before, usually 1pm, you can sometimes get free, or next-day deliveries! Yippee!
6) I know we sound like we are lecturing you.. but the more money you save, the more you have to spend 😉 (sorry…)! Check refund policies. Online shopping is risky and 50% of the time, the product isn’t how it looks online, so check that you can easily refund it so you aren’t left disappointed!
7) Last but not least…. Yes typing out your card details can be annoying.. we live in a world where we want everything simple.. but that just makes it too darn easy! Don’t save your card details when buying something.. or you’ll find yourself just one click away from a large bill!
