How to finally get your life together this month

Get your life together right now. Stop putting things off and hoping life will work out. It is here, happening now. So best get on with it. Working on the go is not easy. Keeping up with not only your travel plans, but the deadlines and make-it-or-break-it tasks can be daunting. That’s where we come in.

Plan in advance: Prepare. Know what your deadlines are and tackle the most important tasks first. Keep a list of everything you need to get done and check them off as you go. You’ll find it’s easier to stay focused and you’ll feel accomplished each time you cross another thing off. It’s important to stay on top of your game, and if you make a plan, you’ll never have to worry about falling behind.

Always have a purse full of your most precious items. Just like we carry around a tube of lipstick to reapply as the night progresses, it is crucial for anyone in the professional field to have any necessary items on them at all times. It will keep you organized, and you’ll never have those dreaded moments of panic. We are thinking notepads, pens and diaries.

Tony Robbins says: “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.”

Write it all down. A timeless habit a girlboss should never lose: keeping a diary. The way we remember things changes each time we look back. The best way to keep an accurate timeline is writing it down. Being able to read about the adventures you’ve been on, both personally and professionally, is also a sweet keepsake to have that your future self will appreciate. Plus it can be a great reference tool if you’re ever stuck remembering the small details.

Use your free time wisely. While we love to sit back and devour a great book or cosy up and watch our favourite badass women rule the screen, time is precious. Use your time to your advantage. Productivity is critical for a working girl, utilise your time. Have a fridge calendar or a notebook on your bedside table.

Take care of yourself. Self-care is something you often forget to prioritize, but it is a necessity. If you are not feeling your best, it will show through your work and your overall presence. Don’t forget to stay on top of your mental and physical health, even more than your career. Rest up and get your beauty sleep. Make sure you are eating and drinking plenty of water, and manage your stress. When you start feeling overwhelmed make it a priority to take some time for yourself to regroup and recharge.
