Cameron Diaz plays the glamorous trailer-maker Amanda, while Kate Winslet is a British journalist. Both women are overcoming bad breakups and swap homes at Christmastime. With Jude law and Jack Black thrown into the mix, it is a fabulous movie to watch not only with your partner, but girlfriends too. We will bring the bubbles.

While Brad counts the hours till he can escape the onslaught of crazy relatives, Kate starts pondering on her own life choices.

Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo have been happily married for five years. Their idyllic relationship shatters when a car accident leaves Paige in a coma. When she awakes, she has severe memory loss and doesn’t know who Leo is. This is a tear-jerker but a lovely film with the even lovelier, Channing Tatum.
The Family Stone
Everett Stone (Dermot Mulroney) brings his girlfriend, Meredith Morton (Sarah Jessica Parker), to meet his family at Christmas. It is the first family encounter we all dread. Meredith is an uptight individual desperately seeking their approval, which instead only results in highlighting her strait-laced personality and making Everett doubt his intentions.
Serendipity
Two people shopping at Bloomingdale’s for their respective partners starts a chain of events revealing that destiny has plans for them to be together. The clue is in the title. New York at Christmas. Is there even a more romantic Christmas setting that that? You can even go and visit the little cafeteria Serendipity is named after.
It’s a Wonderful Life
This Christmas classic has been voted most popular Christmas film of all time almost every year since its release. Jimmy Stewart plays George Bailey, an ambitious young man who one Christmas finds himself in debt and contemplating suicide. When an angel comes to his rescue, he is able to see life as though he was never born. Never underestimate your impact on the world, even if Christmas isn’t for you.
