If you similar to me you too are a woman determined to become the best version of herself.
Feeling self-assured means being confident about your life and the decisions you are making. Here are the most powerful ways I stay self-assured.
Now don’t beat yourself up. Self-assurance is a skill to harness overtime, it won’t just happen in one read. It has taken me years to stop doubting or questioning myself.
I hope these ways help you, let me know in the comments below if there is anything you practise. Or come and tell us in our private Facebook group, The Smart Girl Tribe Society.
Manifest
According to bestselling author Gabrielle Bernstein: “Manifesting is cultivating the experience of what it is that you want to feel. Then living and believing in that experience so that you can allow it to come into form.” I refer to my best self as Super Scarlett, it might be nerdy to you but it really works for me. Every other day I carve out some time to meditate and ask myself three questions: “What does the happiest and most successful version of me look like?” , “How would Super Scarlett act today?”, “How does Super Scarlett express gratitude and face any challenges that arise today?”
Have a community
There is nothing like a strong tribe that can lift you up. A network of like-minded individuals will keep reminding you of your goals. I struggled with this for years and couldn’t find anyone similar to me, hence why I created the Smart Girl Tribe Society. We have shoutout Saturdays and Weekly Win Wednesday, so not only will you have the opportunity to connect, build and grow but you will have direct contact with your target demographic.
Change negative thoughts
If and when are two words I hate, “I’ll be happy when…” or “l’ll be happy if…” Our subconscious decides 90% of our thoughts. This means that the majority of activities we carry out are habit-based. To be happy and self-assured you need to create positive habits and thoughts. For instance, rather than beat myself and say “I should be..”, I say: “Wouldn’t it be fun if I..” See, I instantly flipped the negative thought on its head.
