Kate Moss reveals her £1 beauty trick

Kate Moss is undoubtedly a legend. The supermodel, contributing editor to British Vogue and founder of the Kate Moss Agency has over 30 years of experience in beauty. Even though she is a total beauty chameleon, Kate Moss owns all of her beauty looks. The best news? Her biggest beauty trick costs less than £1 and is super easy to get your hands on.

In a new interview with The Sunday Telegraph, Moss shares her biggest beauty tip.
“The ice plunge is the best secret,” Moss tells the British newspaper. “Fill a sink with ice cubes, cold water and slices of cucumber and hold your face in for as long as you can. It instantly reduces puffiness and tightens up your skin.”

Kate Moss has previously revealed to Vogue that red lipstick is her secret weapon. “It’s the ultimate shade. I wouldn’t wear it during the day, but at night, or if it’s a do, then it’s good.” Moss continued: “Lipstick is the classic, iconic make-up, isn’t it? You think of Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, and it’s always about the lips.” In her Sunday Telegraph interview, Moss also added her advice for a “less-is-more” approach to makeup.

“I spend so much time wearing a lot of make-up at work, so I tend to keep it simple when I’m not. Even though I’m low-maintenance, I do still like a facial and massage when I can.”

One of our favourite style icons, Sienna Miller started her social media journey with an Instagram account earlier this year. Kate Moss however is insistent that there is no mystique anymore in the modelling industry, isn’t a fan of posting personal things online and won’t be downloading the app anytime soon.

Over the years, we have been able mimic Kate Moss’ style through sell-out collaborations with clothing brands such as Topshop and Equipment but the fashion icon on top of all of that has branched into jewellery for the first time. She has collaborated with close friend and jeweller Ara Vartanian on a limited-edition collection inspired by old English legends.  Crafted in 18kt gold, the collection is set with rich stones including amethysts, citrine, garnet and green goldstone, and also features one-of-a-kind pieces set with diamonds, rubies and other precious stones.

If you would like to indulge in more Kate Moss, the blonde beauty is inextricably linked to the high-street makeup brand Rimmel London which aims to be ‘witty, edgy and streetwise’. With product prices starting at £3.99, it’s easy to experiment with all sorts of looks, we personally are huge fans of the collection.
